I am in public sector and they indeed laid off the entire department 3/26 at 1 w a mandatory meeting ! They allowed all reps to sign off for the rest of the day to comprehend what was happening. Offshore will now take all public sector calls and severance packages were sent out immediately after the meeting!

Regarding VBG public sector layoffs - is it still ongoing? Does anyone know how many impacted or it’s too early to tell?

There were no layoffs today, there were a handful of terminations like any other month but NO official layoffs. You people have issues telling the truth, bad morals instilled as children I suppose. If you claim you were laid off post your name and we can look you up in Gmail to confirm you are who you claim to be.

There were RIFs today. VBG, R2B, Network contractors… Even worst, there are more layoffs to come EOY 😢 and our government continues to blow smoke us our a$$. The Country is at its all time worst. Wtf? Time to actively seek new employment.

@OP Dan might pulled it back to revise the severance option. THAT WILL BE THE WORST for the long termers. Legally they can't remove severance, when they offered it within less than 3 months.

There was a layoff today in VBG public sector. Public sector is being outsourced to an onshore parter. Soo it did happen.

There is no regulatory scrutiny as this continues to be the same rendition by the blue-side liberals. Verizon is a stock corporation and functions based on laws within limits of enforcement of corporate laws.
