Working Together/Required in Office Warning?

I missed last month's required in office days by one. I can still go in and book a day off if I need to make myself compliant. Do I need to do that though or will I get a free warning/one free strike? Or is it too risky? I was only off by a day and Ive met or exceeded the days for the last few years.

@ew failing to deal with it? Sounds like OP is dealing with it, right now. Is your worth to the company determined by handshakes and high fives? Or labor?

@ed your manager has to verbally approve exceptions for one. No they shouldn't be used to cover failed RTO for 2. And for 3 thats your problem for failing deal with it. And yes take that as gospel

From I’ve been told, and please don’t take this as gospel, you can input 30 days per year as WFH Due to illness before it gets flagged. Your manager doesn’t approve it, it just gets applied to your RTO tracking

Isn’t it d-mb that we have to waste our energy on this cr-p.

Just book a few hours of medical time - maybe you had to WFH because of a virtual doctor’s appointment?

Put in an exception. Dont waste a day off.
2 strikes and you are out. Don't waste one for being 1 office day short.

Put in an exception day. If you miss two periods you will be terminated. There’s no point to be red any period when you can use exception days. You can say you were sick but could still work, lots of monthly periodic deadlines, etc.

Just go put in a 'Business travel' exception day. I doubt anyone will even notice - ask me how I know :)

Speak with your manager and ask if you could a day during the reporting block as an 'in office exception'

@OP You sound like you’re living in absolute fear of an RTO policy violation. I wish you/we didn’t feel the need to ask this question.
