@m7 It's profitable because they're not paying for content licensing. Content licensing is being done by Paramount. Pluto's main problem is that it's driven by ad revenue which is already a softening market. Only DTC is profitable because it's consistent re-occuring revenue.
@n1 Pluto may/may not have stronger engineering teams. But the fact that Pluto is getting converged and not the other way around shows which side won. If Pluto had built a better more resilient stack P+ would be merged into Pluto and not the other way.
