And the company has gotten rid of this exorbitant percentage of management employees? Who's working strike duty and who's running the freaking company?

@d2 In my building, we have some high-level engineering employees and groups. Some report to BR. They have already been told they are to be hit with at least 15 people gone. On par to the 15 to 20% as stated. There are no groups immune to the layoffs . So that statement is not true. Wait and see.
Not many Engineers will be laid off. Engineers have been hit hard in previous layoff. Engineering especially first line personnel have been told that they will be sent to the Union areas if there is a union strike and there is presently a training program being prepared. Verizon will need all the engineers they presently have. When the union situation is resolved then first line engineers will be on the chopping block again. If a non union employee refuses to go the northeast they will be terminated. Had to find a way to have workers against workers.......
There are plenty of contractors out there that could replace our entire outside workforce on 48 hours notice.
This is funny. They are not worried about it as they will have contractors to use from all areas after Frontier merger. Not to mention non union employees. Then add in Tillman/Eaton trained employees from the new fiber deal. The union has zero cards.

There will be plenty of people by then as the Frontier merger will most likely be January.. Will have all the management from that side until the next possible rif.
I can't wait for double time for that strike, I will be in my bucket laughing at the l-wlifes. 😂
