What areas? Who is gone? I'm hearing it is huge.

@kt heaven help us.
@ak GRS is Group Retiree Solutions
External backfill.
@kt The only way I can see FN being CEO is if our current CEO is ready to sail off in her yacht and the board will put FN in temporarily while they perform an external search for a new CEO. Thank goodness I will be out of here soon.
@kt Literally no chance in he-l....
@kt FN is 66yo so no
Recent leadership changes seem to point to FN being positioned as GB’s successor (if the Board goes with an internal candidate).
Any thoughts?
Currently work for Carelon MBM and we have slowed down a ton over the last month and a half. Anyone have any insight into layoffs?
@bs can you give more information? Departments that may be affected?
@ab line of business
CPO leaving and collapsing the org under audit. The last move didn’t make sense, but this one makes less. Playing darts with their eyes closed.
@br my guess is because of current litigation regarding Medicare Advantage plans. It is just sweeping an issue under the carpet. They are very different in terms of coverage and combining them seems like a disservice to members.
@ew The communications don't go out to everyone. I got none of them, and there were at least four (that I only received because people forwarded to me).
SA no longer reporting to GB and now reporting to FN. Giant ego blow. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
We received an email today about most of the comments on here. It didn't include the RIF info of course , but wondering if associates just don't read the organizational communications because the comments on here have some information wrong from what was clearly communicated.
It is correct that KS is gone and all government business all combined under AD. Looks like someone filling PH role. Otherwise I am not sure if these names will help anyone or not but are some articles with leadership changes:

Carelon?
@bz anymore insight? Only 1 announced from FN
When is Commercial getting hit? Lots of Directors that need to go in that area.
@b2 I heard AD is taking over caid and care and KS is moving to a new role. Not sure who CG is. But lots of caid president and care president changes along with whole teams being moved to other areas.
GRS is group retiree. It’s a subset of Medicare membership for those who get benefits through a former employer. I heard leadership changes happened today. More non-leadership changes will happen tomorrow. Brace yourselves. Good luck everyone.
@b8 said “ Medicaid and Medicare being combined…” Not my area, so I’ve heard nothing about it. I can’t understand why/how. They’re totally different beasts; administered differently, funded differently, with totally different operational rules. It’s like merging sewer workers and airline pilots. Glad I’m retiring this fall; this company is heading full speed off a cliff.
@ak Government Retirees
@b2 KS for sure being moved to a different role. Medicaid and Medicare being combined, so riffed a ton of leadership and moved many others around.
@at, Were AD, KS or CG affected? Whole teams?
any changes to Medicare Sales?
Lots of leadership let go today. Complete reorg happening.
What is GRS?
Medicare, Medicaid, and GRS are being combined into one organization.
What LOB?
Havent heard anything yet ! Can anyone confirm this? what orgs, teams?
Well, if you look at the stock price and Gail needs a retirement home.
