Is STIP still happening? (for laid off employees)

If you were laid off you are able to get stip as part of your severance. Is this still happening? Seems like they’re cutting back on everything financially

@12p laid off in October with a January termination date looks like the deal breaker on who gets stip in their severance

It seems like some people laid off in Oct. WILL receive STIP and others WON'T. Whats the differentiator here?

@sf I was laid off in October and I'm getting STIP. Yes, everyone needs to read their paperwork/one-sheet because it's detailed in there.

@tw bleeding the company dry with the uncompetitive salaries they're paying? those salaries work for full remote, but they certainly don't work for 5 days in office

Caribbean remote workers shouldn’t be entitled to STIP, merits or promotions. They are bleeding the company dry…so are their bosses.

for those laid off in Sept/Oct, you will not get STIP. For those laid off but has their termination date of 12/31/2025 will get STIP, paid out sometime in Feb/March timeframe.

It should be articulated on the one-sheet termination letter you got from HR when you were notified of the lay off.

Ad sales gets STIP at a different time of year from the rest of the company which may muddy answers to this question. They may or may not have handled severance differently due to the close proximity of STIP and severance during the last round.

@cd stip is in the severance agreement for people that were laid off. So you’re wrong.

@bn yeah I know all that, was just curious if It was happening in general as HR that handed layoffs said they have zero info on when the October employees will receive anything

If you were laid off in the end of October round, it should state whether you are STIP eligible in the original separation paperwork - specifically it is called out in the one sheet as well as the signed separation agreement, supposedly to be paid out by March 15

If you are STIP eligible and laid off in the round in October, you are eligible for it. (We don't get the multiplier.)
