Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

So definitely the yearly package for Eisp union coming soon

I can see there will be the usual suspects Eisp offered to union field soon .But all the rumors of some huge enhanced one and a blanket everyone can leave one do not seem to be materialized. It seems it’s same usual yearly Eisp offered to limited numbers.I am very shocked I really though Dan wanted to get as many people off the pay roll as possible.I am starting to think he is more concerned about the management .I am going to assume it’s because they make a much higher salary then associates.Or I just honestly have no idea what plan is ,But going to be a lot of disappointment for field techs tht were hoping to go

@fa There is absolutely zero chance there won’t be enough takers. I’m worried there won’t be enough spots.

@OP Who can retire now and afford healthcare costs? The techs I know are planning on staying now until 65.

@f3 Passive aggressiveness, now I fully understand. Then you add in the self reflection, it all adds up. We often see in others our insecurities and faults. We tend to project those thoughts and feelings towards others. So the actual person you are upset with is yourself. So my thought would be work on yourself and do the best you can with what you have. Dont worry about the others. Its always about you and at the end of the day it's always going to be about you and the person you want to be.
Take care of yourself!

@et life is just fine and well. Being white-collar is great and proud of it. Hate all you free-loaders. No need to sympathize. At full-throttle, the hatred for the union continues!!!

Hope you are having a great day!!!

Fios technician to garage manager ratio is bloated compared to frontier techs. Beware of Fios technician losses!

It will be offered to employees deemed surplus. But, if you don’t take it this time, there will be lay offs.

@OP He is only concerned about gutting management and wireless . Can’t say I blame him. The 5 G experiment was a total disaster. As far as Management making more more than associates? Lol. My OT says nope.

Since those simps allowed the union to push thru that extension for peanuts on a dollar they can eat crumbs til 2030 no ESIP enhancements like a gas station pill in your dreams make sure you do your pre-workouts based on your netlearns videos because you got a long way to go til 65 the company thanks the union for the backdoor deal to sign asap as they jump ship with that’s golden parachute and leave them all behind good luck when they start sending out “layoffs” for the work from home groups you saved them tons of cash for your volunteerism and made it easier to cook the books to show a lost if needed

No EISP? Fine, we'll just all stay until 65 years old when Medicare kicks in.
