RUMORS HAVE ALL SORTS OF DATES IN AUGUST. ANY PLs HERE THAT CAN SHARE THE ACTUALLY DATE. RUMORS ANYWHERE FROM 7/31 TO 8/13. WHICH ONE IS IT?

The dates are 8/11-13th.
I heard by the 1st or 2nd week of August layoffs will take place
Oh I guess you are right…cause we all work out of different offices.
Notice is not required under federal law unless a layoff affects at least 50 employees at a single site and meets specific percentage thresholds of the workforce.
@ay they don’t have to file if it’s under 50 employees I believe
I thought that they had to submit a WARN notice 60-days in advance of involuntary layoffs. I haven’t seen any WARN notices posted.

@OP not a PL but i would guess anytime between that timeframe. in past i dont think they chose a specific day..more like layoffs happen within a specific week
