Thread regarding PNC layoffs

Just get fired for non-compliance. It's really not a big deal.

All the silly posts in this site talking about "staging a protest" with picket signs and masks and cr-p is honestly so cringe and stupid.

In years past when they attempted to enforce a RTO policy, everyone just collectively ignored it, and it went away. That's it. That's all everyone had to do, and it required absolutely no extra effort. Whether that happens again this time around or not, I really don't even care, but I'm not complying regardless.

They can go ahead and fire me, I am not at all worried about it. Ya have until May to have a different option lined up anyways. I'm sure they already expect 10% of the workforce to quit and/or be fired, but probably not 25-50%.

Either way, I'm going to do what I've always done and just ignore it. Not really a big deal.

@OP why not both? Ignore RTO while also speaking your truth on a public forum? The two aren’t mutually exclusive. But agreed protests are an overreaction

@ak I mean you could do that but I'm not about to pay for parking and gas, so I'm just going to stay home from the start. You do you, though.

@ay An intern was fired in 2017 for asking Bill how he got the prince of darkness nickname on wall street.

#brilliantly offshoring

I guess our new “hubs” are:

P - Pune
N - New Delhi
C - Chennai

How does the “prince of darkness” - the architect of the credit default swap (google him, he loses), explain how offshoring helps support our relationship-driven culture and the need for in-person collaboration?

In 2008, Prince William of D-mbfxcks, played a significant role in the financial crisis (seriously Google his name + credit default swap) and now, just before he retires, he is ruining the bank.

Mark, his actions today will result in years of clean up for you. Have Realty Services send him an email notifying him that there is no longer a seat available for him - anywhere!

And to our HR trolls, please keep the posts and the down votes coming. Your thoughtful comments help inspire us to keep the conversation going! Great collaboration!

See you at 7:59 AM tomorrow morning! If you don’t catch me at my desk, check the coffee room, I will be there from 8:01-8:13 AM. If you miss me there, check the restroom. I will be there from 8:14 -8:22 AM and after that I will be dehydrated so I will be at the water cooler from 8:23 - 9:07 AM. Then, I will need to catch the elevator for my 10:00…I don’t want to be late, so I will head down at 9:08. Oh gosh then it’s time for coffee again and the cycle continues.

Why don’t we just DO lunch or maybe we can grab a CONVO on the bus ride home! Tootle-oo! (Heart emoji)

When i was in college, i took a course called Collective Discourses and Grassroot Social Dynamics. Studied a lot of the powerful civil rights stuff, all the MLK efforts, etc. Great class--the professor was awesome too which helped.

For the final exam, the whole class agreed to show up for the final exam, write our names, and walk out in peaceful protest of the exam. Professor loved it so much we all were given 100 percent grades for the semester.

I miss that class.

what about a kind of delayed ignoring? i could see everyone coming into office for may and june, and then some people kinda stop in july and august, and by september it might be back to what we do now
