Having lost millions due to Accenture outsourcing not going as planned the management is now planning layoffs and even more offshore and outsourcing instead of taking responsibility.
Shitstry should be ashamed n be immediately fired!

@rk you need to have the concept of quality to implement quality control, something both Offshore and and Accenture team assigned to TIAA lack. Accenture is not this bad with other clients so TIAA got the worst of the lot, mostly because TIAA offshore running a lot of this has an extremely low bar. TIAA is going to lose in the long run just save some money now. His can the CEO/CTO NOT SEE THIS! SAD!!

@gp I was sitting next to an Indian. She was on the phone speaking her native language. Why the F TIAA allowing them to speak their own language when they are working at TIAA?
@OP outsourcing is for the birds. Whoever advocated for this was only looking at the bottom line only. Not quality. Quality has suffered. ACN goes through more employees quicker than i go through number of pairs of underwear in a day(sorry about the visual). I heard other companies outsource to india & none are satisfied except the C-Suite Execs who got raises & promotions over the deals.
@jp never seen a partnership deal)this bad. Whoever orchestrated this atrocity should be fired..both at TIAA Management side and accentuare discovery team. Terrible, all the good TIAA employees and contractors left or did not consent to join Accenture, Accenture got the bad leftovers. I also heard that they are cutting hourly rates for contractors, that means more good ones are going to jump ships, reducing SLAs, quality even further.
@gb it’s terrible. The ACN teams don’t even work in alignment and you join a call and it’s a new group of ACN teams that are clueless to what is being handed off to them. They give absolutely ridiculous timelines even after showing them the processes and testing requirements. They just throw out dates and demand you fill out their status tracker spreadsheets. They bang on the desk to try and show they are busy. Completely worthless partnership that is holding us back.
@gb lots of errors. The language barrier w/the heavy accents hurts too. Too many 6 am meetings east coast time. I’m sick of this schit.
@as why do you care ? You don’t even work for tiaa do you ? Probably working for a competitor who just went w/Accenture & now you are super nervous trying to explain your bad news to the Board of Directors.
The people that don’t have to deal with Accenture nonsense on a daily basis really have no idea how bad it is.
@as it’s over SLA, contract, terms, conditions, add ons, SOWs, & increasing costs due to diminishing return over a rate of return audit. Cost accounting audit. Value for $ is not there. Don’t believe me ? Just watch.

Not sure what's going on at Accentures side, I hear they are also cutting onshore and increasing offshore ratio to cut cost....
@OP i told everyone this the other day & no one believed me.
On my 4th interview with a TIAA vendor who uses India sub-contractors for 100% of the fund operations/administration work. They see nothing but more opportunities using this business model.
