Why are some people getting more weeks of severance in the same position - same team - with the same years than others?

My coworker and I have been here the same amount of time - same position. She makes less than me. I got 12 weeks she got 14
@OP my coworker who was same position but she has been with Centene 6 months longer than me got nearly the same offer. $100 difference. I had $100 more offered but I make more money $3000 a year difference
@af I have a higher degree than my coworkers and am compensated for it. This may not be applicable for your role.
@af OP didn't say anything about education
It’s based on how long you have been here, your base pay. Not education etc
I’ve tried to get the text verification since 9am and I get nothing - so I can’t even see what they offered me.
@a3 for those of us who cant get in, can you elaborate a bit on what the fine print says.
Maybe your level of education affecting pay?
I finally got my verification to work. The fine print in the letter has me questioning since the amount isn’t guaranteed and the mention of involuntary layoffs.
I can't even get logged in to see my offer! By the time my authorization number arrives the page to enter it on has already timed out. Super frustrated!
