I’m pretty sure they don’t care if layoffs are around any holiday. I know for a fact that there have been layoffs around thanksgiving and Christmas.

@OP it doesn’t matter if one is cut pre-holiday or post-holiday. Either way you will survive. It’s tough out there regardless - no one needs stuff. What we all need is family, friends and fun. The rest is just things. Tomorrow isn’t promised - make the most of the day you are in.
