SF is a disgusting person. So many useless people are retained while the helpful and knowledgeable ones are shown the door. Layoff after layoff and your stock is still tanking. Maybe try something different?

@a3 the top 3 executives at FIS make about $37 million annually. With that, FIS could hire 150-300 tech developers. Couldn't CoPilot do 90% of what SF does. Her pictures are already so edited they don't even look like her.

They need your personal email address so they can email you the severance agreement and your street address so they can ship you a box for you to return your laptop. Teams and Outlook will be wiped from your cell phone if FIS had installed them. I was locked out about an hour after I got laid off.
They gave me two weeks of notice. I was laid off on 5/20 and my termination was 6/3.
What about TMS in EMEA ?

@af Everyone Ive asked had an email filled in already so chalking it up to 'hey, need this info for the RIF, but let's just ask everyone' not realizing every communication going out is going to cause potential stress.
Department is Techdev.....30% of our group was let go.

@ae I got the message and so far I’m safe, but my manager is out on vacation. So who knows?
I also received that email to update personal emails but was also assured by manager im safe... odd time to push such...
@aa I know someone who got that same notice that appears to be safe. It might have been a generic push prior to today's round. Good luck.
@ac mine (from earlier) was so that they could forward any information they need to me since I won't have access. Such as my severance agreement. Etc...

@ab I hope I'm wrong, but why else would they need a personal e-mail? I can only think it's to maintain contact through the process after blocking access to fis network etc.
@aa Received the email to add my personal email, too, first thing in the morning. I admit I may have stared at the screen a little too long before adding it. So far "safe" today but not to say I'm not up next.

Huge round of layoffs at FIS today, with zero days notice. Colleague of mine has been let go after decades with this company, he has to be out today. Entire teams have been removed in Pune. And sum of corporate communication to the company so far? Zero.
@a6 good riddance Brad. I cant believe you convinced me to have an abobo after the holiday party hookup.
I'll be sending one soon. I've got my call in a few minutes and workday asked me to make sure my personal email was updated.

Every three months. RIF. RINSE. REPEAT since they can't find ways to make money with smart solutions and to justify senior leadership salaries. Cut out the masses seems to be a shortcut to make the board and investors happy.
