Anyone know if personal hours are also paid out in addition to unused pto? In CA we get an annual payout in the spring so I am wondering if that would also be included in addition to our pto payout and severance (yes I know severance and pto are paid out separately)

In CA personal time is included but not in other states.
It's all noted in the severance information, readily available online if you just take the time to look it up and read.
It depends on the state. Some states, yes - unused personal time does get paid out. Search 'Personal Time' on the internal website and there's a specific FAQ that references what happens during separation from Verizon and includes a list of those states.
Personal time is not paid out, only unused vacation time.
Use it or lose it. Only unused vacation time gets paid out.
I can’t say first hand but multiple people have commented here that unused vacation is paid out but not personal time
