Sometimes it feels like people are rooting for layoffs with the way they keep predicting them. Every other post tries to guess the date, as if saying it enough will make it happen. When something is official, we will hear about it. Until then, maybe stop tempting fate.

No, ,.....I have a life!!!
I don't think anyone has a choice. Unless you are protected by contract language Dan will do as he wishes.
Those of us that have 20+ years are the bulk of the folks hoping for a package. We have been buried with the work of 3-4 people with all of the cuts and most of us are in a good financial position if and when it happens. I do not hope for a RIF for anyone that doesn't want one. Let those of us that do go on a VSP, or even a standard layoff that we can volunteer for, and save the younger folks without a backup plan.
Why do you think someone talking about something makes it more or less likely to happen? and why would you make the leap to these people WANTING it to happen ?
Also a better question would be why do YOU keep checking a website called "the layoff". Do YOU want it to happen ?
Yes please - ready to go.
I myself don't want be but wish Dan gives the boot to the stores. They have earned it.
I think it’s the shock of what happened in November. I’m still working but I’m worried about what’s next! The way the layoffs were handled created a lot of stress.
yes. still holding out hope for a package before summer.
The only layoff rooting involves the hope that you get caught up in one, very soon.
So far, you continue to disappoint.
Hopefully there will be more layoffs soon so stock will go up.
