Topics regarding layoffs at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE)

Guess HPQ was the place to be!

When the split happened everyone though HPE was the place for cool kids. Turns out you all are just getting killed out there. Good luck!

CEO duration?

HP Helion

HP Helion - This happened so quickly that if you blinked, you might've missed it. HP has had various toes dipped into various cloud projects over the years, but in 2014 they launched Helion as their Openstack-based cloud... only to sunset it less... — read more

Ciber Bankruptcy

Did anyone else see that Ciber (who HPE unwillingly shoved hundreds of workers to over a year ago) has filed for bankruptcy? So many current and former HPE ES employees are just getting screwed all the way around. This whole fiasco is just sad.

Moved from HPE to DXC to Get laid off

What a plan. Move HPE employees by the droves to this acknowledged failure corporation. HPE will not survive like it's DXC smoke and mirrors company.

HPE retirees

As someone who was GM/EDS/HP - RIF'd in 2009 by HP - then started drawing my pension from HPE in 2015, any known changes to pension payments at this time? I personally hope they offer another pension lump sum payoff.

All the disgruntled employees have left to go to the DXC board

Seems like Meg and her minions are off the hook now. No more criticizing the fine decisions her and her staff have made or will make. Good Luck all employees and retirees. They are One lucky group. Now lets see how her decisions pan out. GLTA

For All of You HPE Inventors Out There…

My recent experiences as an HPE inventor have been two-fold: One… In the older days, not more than a few years ago, one could put in “blue sky patents”, not related to anything that HP / HPE (or you) has / have actually built or tested, or even... — read more

Started my new job with a new employer last week. Thank God. My Goal is to find a new job for everyone I left behind. DXC will make slaves of

you all. Now you have three layers of Corporate Greed HPE, CSC and DXC who will drop you the crumbs of that Big fat labor rate. Remember, each corporation will have shareholder, BoDs and top management to satisfy and you will always come last. Please... — read more

Ballsy Executives

This is so pathetic. I wonder how executives at HPE and/or DXC have the nerve to get up in front of employees at any level and spew un-truths about the company. There compensation must make them think they are so immune to anything negative said or... — read more

Once Laid Off Banned for Life?

Is it true that if you're laid off you can never work at HPE again? What's the business/legal point of this policy. If you quit you can come back, but if the market tanks and they have to let you go because of lack of business, you can't come back?... — read more

Wake up guys!!!! why y'all disillusioned that HPE is still a great brand. We'll, it never was and it will never be. Can y'all snap out of dreamland and accept we will be and we are now DXC!!!! DXC is not even a shell of the former glory of HP. Even... — read more

HPE has become the joke of the Industry... Do you agree?

It's sad, but we are now the joke of Silicon Valley and the tech world in general. There was a time (pre-Carly), in which this Company was not only respected, but admired. This was the Company everyone wanted to work for back then... Bill & Dave, I'm... — read more
