What teams actually design and plan these layoffs within Ford? Do my engineering LL6's, 5's and 4's have visibility or involvement in planning? Do they know beforehand?

I’m not thinking this is likely, but there are other parts of the company that need people with my particular experience and education. Has anyone heard of someone being un-fired by moving to another part of the company?

I was let go Aug 2022. Today the manager that read me the script from HMI was let go. 12 people from my old group were let go. Designers from studio. HMI is dead.
