Thread regarding Ford layoffs

It is despicable

I know of many people who had 1 to 3 years to go until retirement eligible with either years of service or age that were cut in the last few rounds. It is despicable that good people and workers are discarded after so long. It is heartless, cold and brutal and obvious they are getting rid of them to get them off the books/pension expense. They were top performers and valued over many years. But treated as a cost liability in the end. Despicable.

KARMA has a way of going around. BF as one WS analyst said in an article. The only qualification he has is the name on the side of the building. APPLIES OT THE REST OF THE FAMILY AS WELL
Totally clueless.. He was CEO once before and was fired by his own family. BF if you are reading this just because your last name is on the side of the building does not mean you know what you are doing. Your track record speaks for itself. Lions, CEO, Train Station.. That is just the start.
JF. Mr. Car Guy. And how has that worked out? Well we lost market share, retreated from certain market segments, Complexity gone through the roof. But according to JF he is a car guy.
Sorry JF. You are a Bobble head brown noser. Lack every trait required to be defined as a LEADER. You along with Billy lost the trust of the salaried workforce.
You lied to the workforce.. You are an over paid Jack A$$.

To any one out there even if you hate Trump let him know what the POS management team has done. $9.2bn loan just a week ago to engineer and build vehicles outside the US only to ship them in here. Down right disgusting. I would vote to pull any federal funding to Ford because of their over seas outsourcing.

These scbs use divide and conquer tactics, but if you have your info together (can't get it after you are walked out) and prepare with a couple other like minded people, then Ford Motor Company is entirely susceptible to a Class Action Lawsuit as they have in the past. They have a clear history of targeting salaried employees short of 30 years and over 50 i.e. Those employees about to cost the company alot of money.
FoMoCo is scared of bad press which is why they go out of their way to control it so much by mixing in the cuts with Ford fireworks, 120 years and any other family BS they can think of . These cuts were a message to the Union - Farley's op/ed notwithstanding - what a load of BS from that non-engineer, racing car wannabe loser.
In summation, class action lawsuit and wait it out and they will get millions.
Ford's HR is not that smart - see Kirsten leaked emails.
Painful but true - they do not give a s**t about you or your family.
Read Marion Barras article in Freep - much smarter CEO and hamstrung by some weird dude named Junior.

Once upon a time The carmakers were afraid that the salaried staff would unionize so they treated us well. I’m not a big fan of labor unions, but I do like to keep the companies on their toes.

Won’t be the first time won’t be the last time. Is this your first layoff experience at ford?
