Retirement Looming

Just trying to hang on until January 2023! Not sure I can take the BS going on for that long!

Made $28 million last year?????

What will Q1 results bring us?

Do good results mean that we are safer and that there will be no layoffs, that we can relax? Will there be pay increases? Unfortunately, my opinion is that with good quarterly results we cannot be sure that there will be no layoffs, nor that we will... — read more

No Vaccine Requirement?

I find it really lame and irresponsible that Fiserv is leaning towards not requiring a vaccine to go back into the office. What a stupid way to reopen. The only way to guarantee no one brings it in and spreads it is having everyone vaccinated. The... — read more

BYOD - How Do You Feel About It ?

I was wondering how other feel about the Bring Your Own Device. It seems like cost shifting onto employee more. How do the rest of you feel about it?

Something tells me

Even when you get great earnings news, you all will find a way to F it up

Do you think

Your competitors spend this much time posting here? From what I gather no mass layoffs are happening, the company is about to announce stellar earnings and except for the moral issues with your hosting teams, it’s a pretty good company. I ask... — read more

Fiserv stock momentum fizzling out

With FISV stock momentum fizzling out, what is next for this company? Will it ever recover to Yabuki–era earnings? Will it take another round of layoffs?

Kind of funny!

I work everyday with very good teammates from both OFD and OFSV and we never refer to each other that way anymore. There is no animosity just good people trying to get the job done. I understand the anger at delaying raises and the 401 and espp... — read more

1 week

We are 1 week away from a positive earnings call of a lifetime. $175 by month end and that’s with all of the OFS complaining

Reverse Merger Happened

My theory on the case is the fact that this ended up being a reverse merger and some ofs not willing to accept that fact. Instead of being angry evaluate if you can get on board, change to new norms of operating (like putting the client and... — read more

OFD...grow up

I read these messages and am floored, disgusted and embarrassed. Let's be REAL...there are/were ppl in both companies that needed to go. No company has the cream of the crop in every role. OFD, if your stuff was so great why did you get bought... — read more

Taking someone else's credit

This is one of those infuriating things that happen here all the time. I have a colleague who does this to everyone. Small or large, he always takes credit from other people who put in a lot of effort into their work. I just can’t come to terms with... — read more

Do you have an EXIT plan?

The way that banking companies lay-off people is very cut throat. No one knows until they let you go, because it is a risk to the company if an employee knows they are going to get let go. I would recommend that you all have your exit plan in place... — read more

Are they just wanting people to quit???

Where the hell is our merit increases. 401k match. Full discount for stock. I’m tired of the stress with less and less pay. Tired of OFD thinking they are solving problems. Fiserv is the worst it has ever been. Went down hill after merging with this... — read more

Work from home

Do you think fiserv will allow work from home after covid? I hear my office in Dublin will close, but I don’t know what that means for my job

Which roles are most useless here?

OK, I would say HR, because they never did anything for me, and I doubt they brought much good to the company either. I may be wrong, but those are my two cents. However, there are so many other useless roles, that I sometimes wonder what these... — read more

Tips for reducing layoffs

I would like to list some tips I feel would help reduce the number of layoffs of valuable resources in the long run, at the cost of layoffs of not-as-valuable resources in the short run: Heavily reduce the number of "enterprise coach", "scrum... — read more

Frivolous spend but benefits still not whole...

Fiserv is NOT a walk in business to end users. Our customers are NOT individuals. Can anyone help me understand why Fiserv continues to spend money frivolously on race cars and "financial commitments to 20 other sports and entertainment venues"? ... — read more

I can’t wait for next week

Despite the stress and anxiety, I can’t wait to get laid off. I have been preparing for it for months and I hope that some savings will help me until I find a new job. The most important thing is that I cleared my mind of any doubts - layoff is only... — read more

We are a week and a half away from more seperations.

I was told in November that my job was being eliminated and that if I stayed until mid March, I would get a severance. But if I talked about with anyone or left early, I would not. My last day is next Friday so I would guess that there are many... — read more

It’s not that easy to leave Fiserv

I recently met a former colleague who has now found a new job, where he says he is paid better and generally has better working conditions. Still, he couldn’t resist asking about the situation in Fiserv and recounting a few ugly situations. And... — read more

Fisserv is actually working against himself

I feel bad when I see how some people who don’t deserve it at all are more appreciated than some others who work really hard. I know that such a thing is present in most companies, but I do not believe that there is anywhere such an obvious gap... — read more
