Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Last Attempt

In reading many of the posts it seems a last desperate attempt from the perpetual work from home crowd to persuade someone/anyone that they can/will continue to work from home. Sorry game over!

This is just a way to get people to quit…..and they hope you do! That way they don’t have to give you a severance package! Genius, really! At least it shows that the hard working people are worth zero to the people at the top looking down…..they are weeding out the unvaccinated too this way. Gotta love corporate America!

Fiserv HR and Frank are living in the 20th century paradigm.

You might as well be telling us to fax in our reports daily, and record our Zoom meetings on Betamax.

The COVID crisis has proven that work can still be done, and done effectively at home. And we current and former Fiserv employees are proof of that.

The only reason you want people back in the office is that your mgt can't fight the addiction to keeping their thumb on their employees. The whole "hey! you leaving early?" mentality. Appearances that pass for productive work.

Here's a quick exercise for the HR drone:

Pause your favorite activity of tongue-bathing Frank's nether regions. Have a friend who is even halfway in tech turn on the "actively seeking opportunities" flags on his LinkedIn page. Ask the sudden flood of recruiters which jobs are remote-only. Marvel at the fact that few will demand on-site-only.

Then you and Frank can sit back and wonder why so many good employees jumped ship.

You act like this is a loss for us ?
If Fiserv won't let me work from home believe me someone will.
Pay and starting PTO are almost always negotiable I won't lose a penny or an hour walking out of this quickly sinking ship.
The stock market has had a huge run up in the last six months.
But you know who didn't ? Fiserv because our investors know better. Frank is failing period.

The irony, a major fintech company demanding remote WFH people return to the office. Now clients will hear a drone of interrupting background noise from other in office conference calls.

Inspire and achieve excellence - lol

As a WFH person, i too cannot wait to go into an office to colloborate with my clients or coworkers that I will continue to talk to over the phone. I cannot wait to lose an hour a day commuting. I cannot wait for it to be even harder to go the restroom between calls and to find time to eat lunch. I cannot wait to work all day in the office, and then have to come home and work some more because our account ratios are too high. I cannot wait to have someone sitting right next to me distracting when either of us are on the phone.i cannot wait for supporting clients when we will be losing so much talent resulting in decreased service levels and increased complaints.

Guy, thanks for the free air conditioning and comfy office chairs. It makes my Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn browsing quite enjoyable!

I never realized there was a "work from home crowd" I always assumed people prefer work life balance. Then again the post is probably from some shill

@mij+1dbT9bb9 to be fair FB still uses a blackberry and a dial up modem, and probably writes physical checks too.

Yep, this 'perpetual work from home' person cant wait to get into an office so I can collaborate with my teammates who are not in the same geographic location that I'm in.

Perpetual work from home crowd? Seriously?! You must live 5 mile from the new office like Frank. It’s a technology company. No work from home in this day and is ludicrous. You must be living in the 90s too
