Topics regarding layoffs at CVS

I hope this is only a rumor....

I hope this isn’t true but I just heard that they are limiting the number of hours an employee can work based on their pay. So for example, if you get paid $20/hr you can’t work more than 35 hours a week and if you get paid $15/hr you can’t work more... — read more

Amazon slowly eating away at cvs...

https://apple.news/AteDPad62T_2qcDXxcZcC4w Cvs just can’t compete with Amazon as they can pretty much do everything cheaper than cvs.

Can the delay of the merger produce layoff?

Seems to me like a sensible question, given the current situation. A lot of money has been put into this and obviously the halt in the whole process is burning money, as we speak. Is that situation going to escalate to a point that they will need to... — read more

Here in the front lines this uncertainty is killing us

Colleague Availability

What is the policy regarding availability? Can a store manager force an employee to work outside of their availability? The colleague’s availability is approved/set in myschedule.

What if the front end is reduced by 35-50%?

Sure, it may never be gone for good. Why stick around and find out? What if the front end is reduced by 35-50%? How much payroll, and how much would they want to pay managers? 10 years from now the job will be different, borderline unrecognizable... — read more

Congratulations your number 1 , no body worse

Recent poll by career builder and rotten tomatoes have you listed as the worst company in the United States to work for. DG was second. You beat wmart and Family $ as well . You are the worse! Integrity in leadership last in the nation,

As of 4/1/2019..

either it is a April fools joke, or the Company is finally beginning to realize that, with the reduction in hours, the FS's time is limited, so they proposed that we open, and close, on Pharmacy hours, plus, we go to less Ad signing , meaning that... — read more

What really irks me is all the higher ups (DL, LP/AP, Regional Director, AVP, etc.) who come in to our stores and do nothing but crab at us and bark orders, but don’t lift a finger to help, as if actual work is beneath them! And people wonder why... — read more
