Except these results are misleading. Because of the problems from 2018 Q4, plus the weak 2019 guidance that was issued, Wall Street had set the bar real low for 2019 Q1 expectations. So cvs beats the street’s expectations, and manages to make themselves look good, but because the bar had been set low, some analysts are cautioning that there is still risk with cvs, and we need to see a lot more than just one halfway decent quarter, before we say cvs is ok now. There are still stiff headwinds cvs is facing.
