Why no college recruiting this year? I mean at least show up and kick a tire. This reflects poorly upon us and our long term outlook. Are we in that bad of shape?
Where do we meet if we get laid off?
Name a few Drinking Spots around the office you'd like to meet up at! First round on me!
EOI
Who selected EOI and have been talked to by a manager asking why or what it would it would take tour want to stay? Heard multiple EIO'rs that have been talked to and many that havent. Wondering what it means.
Spirit Values?
COP overall had a pretty good safety culture and record. However, in my opinion, how the management handled the layoffs over the past 6 months has demonstrated a complete lack of ethics, integrity, and trust. SPIRT values my ass!
EOI
Have those that expressed their interest in taking severence heard anything? Or do they find out like the rest of us slobs?
Vote for Trump!
Convinced he will open a Ceasers Palace in Katy and we could all get jobs there. He might even give us all a sign on bonus for our betting the farm on $100.00 oil.
Cog in the wheel
Take a moment and recite the SPIRIT Values, perhaps fill out an OTZ Card and reflect on a flawless year of unrecordables. Just slurp down another refreshing glass of koolaide, straighten your tie and march along. Oh, and don't forget to conduct a... — read more
Bring us back as contractors ?
For those who sank years of thier life devoted to and building up the company, could they be brought back on as contractors? To join all the many contractors who are still working happily away?
If you EOI'd, what work preparations are you making?

Is this the end of ConocoPhillips, is it for sale?

Something to think about if you are going to be escorted out...

So...who's gone?
Is there a list anywhere of who has been let go? I'm now with HR Learning, but I would love to find out that some of the people I knew got cut because if I was making the calls, they'd be gone. Bill Finch? Dru Cahill? Bruce Palfreyman? Maria Baez?... — read more
