Now where would I wear that Thank you John, Chuck Rocks(or Cisco Rocks) or whatever T-Shirt?
This is the best place to live, work, and play. That is surely the perception I had, have (...and might have) Why is Cisco doing this to Engineers, I have clue. I read another thread here, stating - as executives are not able to 'execute plan', they... — read more
Layoff from a manager standpoint

Cisco, like other networking tech companies, is old lady of industry
the networking/telecoms/IT sector is mature and deflationary. Rapidly declining ASPs, open source, cheap labour help accelerate this, which is good for end customers and bad for fat management in public companies. growth will be flat to decline in SP... — read more
And then there are those of us who should be laid off and will not be...
It's really sad to look at all of the people genuinely concerned about being laid off when there are those, like me, who know we should be and will not. Why? Because our execs chose to lay off senior people with a lot of great classic Cisco hw/sw... — read more
If CRN report of 14K Layoffs is incorrect then why Cisco didn't vehemently deny it?
Cisco so far has refused to comment on media reports. Why are they not denying those media reports. It is a PR disaster for Cisco. I have not seen a single Cisco HR, PR, Media Spokesperson deny it on any social media site. WHY? At least Cisco can... — read more

It's not about software skills transition.
