Word has just came down from the top brass - 10% workforce cut globally. Will be effective day 1 of new fiscal. Names need to be rolled up in the next 2 weeks. Plan accordingly.

Why do laid off people come back ?

I personally know couple of guys I used to work with in RTP. They seem to be happy. They both worked elsewhere for couple of years after let go.

SP down 13%

There will be a huge wacking in Eng/Sales/Service for teams who deal with SP products. This is the worst performance ever in SP. Not sure who is eating our lunch in SP. All 4 red badges in my team were given layoff notices on Monday.
