What is Belk's Status Now?

Does anybody have any concrete info on how Belk is doing now, after a good month of stores being open? Better, just as bad as they were before, or worse? Does their dismal credit rating still stand? There seems to be no news out there about this.

I've heard there might be more layoffs at Belk this week, can anybody confirm or deny this?

STM’s are glorified “online order pickers”

Managers now are just “pickers” for online orders, nothing more. most STM’s (now working under reduced pay) don’t realize they are being taken advantage of by belk, or maybe they do realize it and are desperate for a job.

belk is in serious default on rent/vendors

The money that Belk owes vendors and for rent is no joke, they are in serious trouble, just regional managers and a few select store managers know how bad it really is.

more layoffs on 5/8/2020

Some stores laid off employees (housekeeping, visual, HR, cash office) that were called back to work after stores reopened on 5/1, they were given packages depending on how long they were with the company
