Received ISC reorg email last week regarding two svp roles will be removed. Any ideas when this restructure will impact to downstream?

Our IDS region did very well and still many layoffs, recently added global marketing know nothing about customer pain points. This is not an global company anymore, rather a US-centric stock market focus company.

"If Management wanted to RIF 7% of my department, would I be laid off?" They always say "It's not performance driven". So what is the calculation?

They may let go off more people if needed, we do know economic crisis will continue next year.

Reduction in Force today (9/27/2023) at the San Diego location of BD. Cal-WARN ACT providing 60 days of advance warning resulted in laid off employees receiving 60 days of pay in lieu of warning.

Layoff season upon us and just like clockwork they happen before the all hands. What a place to work. Avoid working here at all costs. Don't bother working hard they cannot afford to promote you.

End of year restructuring is occurring and the organization is getting impacted. Not too many but some key roles were impacted. Best wishes to everyone in this and coming rounds.

Spending freeze announced this week in BDB to compensate for IDS potentially missing budget targets. Product launches will be delayed. Most likely layoffs will hit before FY24.

Hiring freeze is also implemented until the next fiscal year. Start looking elsewhere while you can.

BD yet again known for doing Layoff's, always in constant fear every quarter especially near the end of the 4th quarter. No wonder why there is a lack of talent and zero moral there.

Any info on BD pseudo-layoff, rebadging BD employees as contractors? Does anyone know how many BD associates were given the option to either transition to contractor status (contingent worker) or resign?

Job losses announced in yet another knee jerk reaction by incompetent management. Constant change in focus, no direction, low staff moral and lack of training and access to standard operating procedures.

Layoffs are happening.

Confirmed via multiple sources, fairly large layoffs coming very soon. Rumor has it that it's mainly for optics. Paying bonuses while not able to sell infusion for several years, finally catches up.

It's got to continue and there are definitely lots of management layers that could go. Sr leaders with 1 direct report or no direct reports! Too many layers for sure.
