Thread regarding BD (Becton Dickinson & Co.) layoffs

New 401k ‘paycheck’ blended funds, what a joke

So BD so concerned with employees’ getting monthly payments in retirement that they are doing away with pensions and doing this? Yeah that makes sense… I’m sure most leadership aren’t pension eligible (not with BD long enough to be grandfathered in) so this is their way of getting a lifetime paycheck at expense of employees who have more years left than they do. Good luck young employees if you fund their retirement and if it’s 100% benefits when your turn (if you aren’t laid off by then). Sad that every change seems to be another way to take advantage of employees.

The department of defense did the same thing a few years ago. They no longer offer a pension. It is all 401k now.

Nickel and dime you. I see this site is now suppressing opinions about the company. Look out everyone, big brother is tracking you.
