Surplused
I have been with the company over 20 years and I was surplused I was lucky to have been given a job in Florida for now. I had to uproot my family but I have a job. Many more surplused managers will be moved out very soon.

Convergys hiring in the Phillipines to replace front line jobs
AT&T has contracted for more agents at Convergys-Phillipines as it gets ready to surplus at home. The Company is shifting more towards online support and artificially increasing the wait time on the phones.
what is going on?
Our center was empty, but in the last 3 months they have hired over 100 reps. If they are laying off then why are they hiring all these reps?

So I'm hearing mid September we will have another round of layoffs. So I would like to hear some thoughts on the volunteer to go process, how it worked for those the last round etc. it just seems contradictory when you read the form.

There was a lot of activity early this morning at Dallas HQ supposedly between our leadership team and Frontier regarding the sale of California wireline assets. Not sure which areas are being looked at. Will post more if I hear specifics.
