Tesla Solar Roof Panel - Dear Randall this is how VERTICAL INNOVATION IS DONE!!!!

Randall, I know you read these boards lol, and I'm sure by the time you've read this latest entry, you've seen Tesla's latest announcement. This is how vertical innovation and risk taking (in partnership with 3M) and development works.

The solar panel market has slowed and become lackluster as people shy away from its poor esthetics and the fact that people really aren't saving that much money using them. In fact, there are case studies where people are paying MORE over time on the grid.

But ponder a solar roof that lasts longer than a house. Ponder how innovation really works!!!! And none of this work was shipped overseas...go figure.

Product announcements are typically shown on TED/x programs. Musk's Tesla solar panels and Apples twice a year product announcements are company hosted.

I don't have time to innovate the right way.

If innovation doesn't appeal to Randy certainly getting on stage a la Elon/Tim should. Just think, he could pivot himself away from being a used car salesmen to actually getting on stage and selling meaningful work. But first you have to CREATE IT. And stop with the shiny object syndrome stuff.
