Some changes are bound to happen. I can’t imagine thing staying the way they are in terms of the headcount of workers. You may disagree, but for me the only questions are when, in what for, and how many people.

Most have bailed. Either...Early happy hour or off to family. It takes a bit to brush the dust off after getting out of the coal mine.

If you get sent to a supplier (WiPro or HCL) you most likely move to the supplier's severance, which is often just two weeks. Just ask all the engineering folks that got sent to HCL a few years ago and saw severance dropped to two weeks before HCL... — read more
