The events in the past and the recent HCL story have proved that the company leaders want to outsource as much as possible, especially with the state that the company is in right now. Curious what segments of Xerox’s business have the biggest potential to be outsourced, should that scenario come into play?

Wouldn't be surprised if the Canadian call center jobs (600+) are all outsourced. They've already moved them to an offshore corp and are no longer Xerox Canada employees.

Everything currently being done must be viewed from the perspective that senior management is selling the company. So, if someone is buying Xerox, or parts of it, what aspects of the workforce would be redundant or unnecessary? What positions can be scaled by the acquiring company? In the corporate world, it's called "corporate synergies". Answer: AP/AR, IT, Dispatch, Lease Administration, HR, etc. The acquiring company already has these resources and doesn't need to add to their expense. So, Xerox is going to be moving these roles to Contract Worker status via HCL and WiPro. When the company is acquired, the contracts will be canceled, the staff will be let go with little fanfare, and the acquiring company will not have to fire nor pay severance to a bunch of workers. What does that get Icahn/Deason? Added value and a higher selling price.
Where are they outsourcing to? Is it going to India Philippines or Guatemala to finish up out company expectations?
