HCL

Has anyone been given their 60 day notice from HCL about being laid off?

Oh by the way...

the stock price is back below where it was after the FX merger was announced ($34). All that pain for so many employees, all these millions wasted on Johnny V. and is gang of thieves and for what? Nothing to show to grand-pa Icky.

Disgusted

Rebadged employees being treated poorly. Demands from those not rebadged are out of control. Bonus’, raises, promotions for those not rebadged. If you have an opportunity for employment elsewhere take it. Management may promise some to move back... — read more

Can I refuse to Train HCL after I Quit?

I quit after HCL rebadged me & now HCL wants me to provide them training of my role but I don’t want to. Can i refuse ? If so and they fire me do I get paid out my last few weeks??

Congrats Executive Team!

You guys must be so proud of your achievements! Stock price down only 3% is a fantastic outcome given the material acceleration in the rate of revenue decline/debacle. Well done - you all deserve a few more million each!

If you aren't happy, leave!

So much whining here. The economy is good, there are lots of jobs out there that may pay more. If you are truly unhappy with your job, with Xerox, and with the direction it is headed, why dwell on it? Why continue to stress yourself out, worry... — read more

Business 101

The goose is cooked. Xerox is a dying company and the Exec board is simply trying to show profits to sell the company for as much as possible before the true ramifications of the cost cutting hit the books. It’s done folks. Wish it wasn’t true, but... — read more

August tomorrow. Lay-off advice.

When you get layed off, if you are given 45 days to execute a general release in exchange for severance, immediately contact an employment law attorney. You may be able to get more severance (especially if you are over 50), your job back, etc. they... — read more

What's the status of the Gil Hatch Center? Bldg. 209?

Are customer events still being held there? Are there still multiple events daily, 4-5 days/week? Is there talk about shutting it down/moving it to Raleigh or somewhere else that they consider more exciting than Webster? Thanks!

Being rebadged, a reward or a punishment?

In one sense we got to keep our jobs and our paycheck, in another we all know this is going to be a short ride. The ones that get to stay are not in a better situation, given that the fear of layoffs is still present to the same degree. Who do you... — read more

Q2 results

Here’s what I know: revenue down in line with Q1. The equipment revenue blood bath has now expanded to post-sale, which is the beginning of the end. Margin up significantly year-over-year due to expense cuts (mostly on the employees’ back) but profit... — read more

Lost Vacation Anyone?

Accrued 4 weeks vacation in 2018 for 2019. Was given 1 quarter of that vacation when rebadged to HCL. Now I have to borrow vacation time as I earn it from HCL. Where are my 3 weeks I accrued in 2018? Also very tired of receiving emails about XBS... — read more

Webster buildings

Does anyone know what buildings will be retained and which buildings will be vacated in Webster?

Webster exit by year end???

I had not heard that before and just read it in a comment below about Q2 financial results. Can anyone elaborate on that? Thanks

Were talking about the consequences, not the problem

The HCL situation, layoffs, restructuring, changes that we’re witnessing, they’re all just the consequences of the fact that Xerox is a company that doesn’t have any technology that could be profitable in the future, and the technology that’s... — read more

Great Q2 financial results!

I hope that Q2 financial results will be outstanding with strong revenue improvement given disappointing Q1 decline of ~9%. All the revenue growth initiatives in service, software, etc. that Joanne is leading should start paying off - or at least... — read more

Job description for non rebadged admin employee?

I am part of the admin team and was not rebadged. I keep asking mgmt what my job description will be but all they can tell me is that I will be working for the CFO. Has any of the cores that are in Wave 1 know what the job will include?

How is this okay?

How cruel do you have to be to make people train their own replacements? And they full well know they're training their replacements... This is just wrong on so many levels...

Is this XBS only?

Seems like all the posts here are from XBS employees. Is there nothing else of concern at Xerox?

Golden process

Cotg and comdoc, what is the golden process looking like? What processes are they taking from your cores?

My good bye gift to XBS

I was one of the people who left a job that I loved because XRX leadership decided that going with HCL was a wise move and we all knew we were getting fired anyway because of the leaked HCL document. So I am at my new company and found out that we... — read more

When can HCL lay you off?

I understand that the whole purpose of this is to get cheaper labour, and that we’re all basically training our replacements, but is there any clause in the agreement with HCL regarding how long they have to keep the worker that transferred from... — read more
