There were layoffs back in January 2015 in the West Area. Up to five folks from each dept were affected. All were non-customer facing from operations, finance, and marketing.

Huge layoffs, that's a big hit for Folsom, the number is huge

Everyone expected that 2014 will be the year of big cuts here at Verizon corporate, however things will probably be much worse in 2015 - it's not bad right now but you can tell that the execs are working on something

About 3,000 Verizon workers will have to transfer to different offices or find new jobs, because they are closing five customers call centers. That's a lot of people to transfer, horrible decisions.
