Word on the street is that Verizon has started to offer full time employment back to people that took the VSP. Could this be true and if so does it show that they made the mistake of letting some of the most talented employees leave?

This last offer had an “off payroll” date of 12/21. Place your guess as to when the company will see fit to tell people whether or not they are retiring or not I’m guessing 12/16.

Heared many employees being suspended in bklyn. Somehing like Q&R all over again..though that was gone last contract ..any insight on this ..true or just fake news , anybody heared anything.

What days are contractors being required to not work this holiday season? I was required not to work the week of Thanksgiving (cost savings they said) but haven't been told anything yet for the rest of the year. Thanks.

Anyone else hear the rumor that retail employees won’t be getting commission starting in 2020. Heard they’re just paying hourly.

I was understanding that the PBGC Rate was dropping to 0% for November which controls the Lump Sum for the first quarter of next year(the middle month, the quarter prior). Why is the rate now shown as .25?

What’s an estimated percentage raise for someone getting promoted from band 7 to 6 Individual Contributor?

Now shows .25 for January-Feb. About a 5% increase in lump sum.

We just got extra week of vacation, and Hans just announced a new employee stock benefit starting next year. Details forthcoming. All in all, I’m glad all of the negative Nancy’s are out. 2.0 was a good thing!
