As I write this, the Comcast stock dividend is at 5.85%. I don't know if Comcast can eliminate that dividend without further cratering the stock price, but maybe a trim is needed? That might be enough savings for now to preserve spots for some people that are on the fence for layoffs?

@ag which is why it is so mind boggling this leadership team is still in place. They’ve neglected their fiduciary duties for years at this point
OP, Comcast and other public companies have a fiduciary (legal) duty to maximize shareholder value. In other words, share prices and dividends are more important to the company than your job. You are nothing but a cost center on a spreadsheet so stop dreaming 🤪

Corporations do not exist to be altruistic. They exist to make profits and line the pockets of shareholders. Please stop being naive.
