Enough: We have to Stop Hurting Ourselves

The Letter to Leadership was good and their call to action, this is ours. Leadership and the Board absolutely need to get their sh-t together, stop the leader revolving-door with swag bags of cash and create stability, but as employees need to stop making things worse too. There’s a difference between calling out real problems and constantly telling the world Crown is dying (when we aren't), collapsing or broke when the facts don’t support that. That noise gets repeated, becomes a narrative and adds to the confidence problem we already have. Hold leadership accountable, challenge bad decisions and demand better, but stop creating new problems while everyone is trying to fix the existing ones. Help each other, stick to facts, protect the business and move forward. Enough is enough, we need to be the examples to the leaders because they need it.

You will basically go down with the ship now. You had your chances but stayed on. Now no one is hiring. Good luck!

@ak I don't think they are asking anyone to slap on a happy face, it absolutely su-ks they keep trying to cut their way to better numbers and out of this while literally ki-ling people and not holding the people accounting who are borderline if not actually abusive to staff. what they are saying is we are broke and spiraling comments are ki-ling us more causing them to panic because the stock is panicking with the leadership issues and lack of confidence the analysts have that crown has their sh-t together and yeah many of us are doing jobs that are more workload than 80 hours a week then asked to do more and commute in then work at home at night and on the weekends which isn't right at all. we aren't bankrupt so people do need to stop spewing cr-p like we are and leaders needs to stop changing and re-organizing and bringing in their own people (who they are paying a he-l of a lot more) because they can't figure out how to resolve the problems without their security blanket staff from their old jobs sadly. At the same time, we are working so hard and doing so much while the stop drops because of the leader's drama and oh yeah, the new leaders people walked in telling us how great they are and how much we su-k while clocking out at 4:30 with their wallets overflowing. I am faking a smile for my shares to go up that's it!

Go back through this layoff board for a couple of years. You’ll find quite a number of posts calling for people come together and Crown is still a great company and leadership just needs to be better. All those posts were followed by another round of layoffs. What makes this one any different?

What the he-l are you talking about? I have watched my team be cut to nearly no one and had my workload tripled. Good people have lost their jobs because of this bs and sales being completely inept and allowing all our MLAs to expire so we have no work on the horizon. Now I should slap on a happy face? Get real, go back to your purple kool-aid

Today proves this with no changes financially at all, but we’re down to August lows and getting hit harder than our peers so it’s not towers or financials it’s perception so stop feeding that BS.
