Exec Calls to increase "voluntary turnover" on "leadership development" call

Was anyone else listening in on the Leadership Development call on Tuesday? Things were going as expected, until the final comments when the male leader suggested that the way to increase our revenue per employee is to encourage people to leave voluntarily. Did anyone else catch that? Seemed like they said the quiet part out loud

Stankey has been at AT&T for 40 years pocketing over $100 million, he won’t give up his gravy train and leave voluntarily!!

Stank has uttered this for years. That’s the statistic he cares about THE MOST.

Revenue per headcount. That’s it. You’re just a body tied to a number you have no actual control over.

I would say a good majority of employees are looking for an "Exit Fee".

@bj I know there almost certainly wasn’t an “official” recording thanks to Stankey being Stankey but that doesn’t mean people can’t record on their own. That happened last year when Kellyn Kenny talked about the presence report in a town hall to help clean up the fallout from Stankey’s post-survey meltdown. A recording was leaked to Business Insider. Stankey’s ageist remarks in that town hall in 2023 also got leaked but it took years and a lawsuit to do it.

@af they edit the recordings or don’t provide them any
ore — especially after the townhall a few years ago when Stankey said we have too many old people. Remember? Right after that Angela Santone quit — she wasn’t about to handle the clean up. Stank just rides off in it the sunset and lets others clean up after him as his saddle bags have $10M in each. Sickening he’s a greedy conceited narcissist

Offer us a decent package, and many will volunteer.

@ag what? Define fraudulent? They are paying to get what?

Just like RTO and presence reports are about culture, productivity and accountability. We all know differently.

The building renovations are simply updates so that when the time comes, it’s easier to lease or sublet them out.

When the new Hq is completed, they expect everyone working in those corporate functions to fit in those buildings. With some regional exceptions I’m sure, but nothing like what it is today.

@af recording isn’t out yet, and who knows if that comment will make the cut. I don’t remember his name, but he was the only man in the panel

Well the current administration just announced they are canceling a ton of "fraudulent" AffordableCare Act health coverage so if you have a job you need to keep it until you have another.

Would be nice if there was a recording of this or a name attached to it

I'm ready to consider any severance-related "encouragement" that our esteemed leaders offer. Let's see how serious they really are here...

@a9 , rest assured there wasn’t a “leader” amongst them.

@a8 true. But to hear an exec say it that blatantly to "up and coming" leaders was telling.

Encouraging people to leave has been the "out loud" message from the Dear Leader for some time now.
