The management that was always in the kansas city business journal will have passed away, the buildings sold or torn down, the computer systems thrown away, the clients merged with other companies, its will be totally unknown to the kids born after 2010. Yes, Dst lost its way due to it not seeing the future of subaccounting. Contracts with major clients were made not taking subaccounting into consideration. One VP in particular was responsible for the contract snafu. Dst was very short sighted due to local grown management with no other experience than kcmo and Dst. No Swiss or London gurus were ever hired. Just local boys
