He is no good. He likes smoke and mirrors. He will try to sell bits and pieces to make his numbers and look good. He has no idea what he is doing. PNC - Fiserv both are so happy he is gone.

All these financial firms hire this dude to roam around and glad hand…. unbelievable… can’t blame him, though, he’s made a ki-ling being a crooked politician, right into being the well-spoken Democrat. This says everything about Truist. Wasting resources on things that don’t matter.

@bf I think he will be there for a year (and a half).
Truist may look much different around that time and won't be the bank they promised it would be in 2019.
He is sitting with different members of departments to get a feel for them. Taking handwritten notes. More than our other leaders have done.
Truist is like an aircraft carrier it will turn slowly if at all. If it is not sold by 2028 before Orangeman is gone all bets are off where the bank will be then.
Imo, I don't think he'll be here long term. He's here to lay off, cut whatever fat remains, make Truist attractive for a buyer & then he's out.
I have not seen him do anything good or bad yet..(Which in itself maybe telling).
