Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

VSP - Turning in equipment - Anyone else having problems?

when I received the emails, I filled out both the links for the cellular company own device and the link for the laptop. I have not received anything back yet. I’ve called Centene Help Desk IT four times with four different tickets and now I’m calling today and they are literally hanging up on me. Is anybody else experiencing this? I’m ready to give this company their equipment back ASAP. Why are they making it so hard? does anybody have a solution to this or is anybody else running into the same thing?

This is where we get into perception issues. Your expensive corporate laptop isn’t worth the time to get it back. The day you are let go the computer is locked out and any data stored locally is deleted/bricked. Sometimes they don’t even ask for them back. What’s a few laptops worth to a multi-billion dollar corporation? Nada.

Typical corporate bullsh-t. One department not talking to the other. Keep it in your garage for a year, if they don’t ask for it back, toss it in the garbage. Don’t worry, I guarantee it was bricked the very moment you were let go.

@OP I'm going through the same thing but I am ISP. I haven't received the email about returning the equipment and have also talked to IT 4 times. They said my supervisor needed to approve something but he hasn't received anything to approve. What a joke.

@OP I would contact my supervisor and send details via email as well. CYA is what I always say.
