If they don’t grant me the same quantity of RSU in October that just vested for me, I’ll get a pay cut. I’m inclined to mention this to my manager if this is the case. Anyone else facing a similar situation?

Oracle couldn't give me a raise for three years, and my total outstanding RSUs were less than 1/4 of a single years' salary. Then I was RIFed and the small company I joined ended up offering more than O did even before negotiations started. Getting let go by O was one of the best things that's happened to me this year. Good riddance.
+1
@OP if you want to carry on working for Oracle, keep quiet and hope that they don't give you more RSUs.
Having RSUs makes you a target.
Best advice is find another job.
Find a new one.
Use this as an opportunity to find another job
Majority of people are on cliff, no guarantee you will get RSU, no guarantee you will be employed to get them. You are taking all the risk.
@a9 honestly the RIF if there is no stock upside. This means it’s fair game for other jobs comp wise. It’s a business transaction you have to see it like that. No RSUs means I look for a different type of job and I can be free wheeling on the potential new comp. At some point the Walmart greeter will pay more and with health benefits. Oh and a union
@a6 I’ll do less giving a fu-k
It's an annual pay cut company and many will get a RIF before their RSUs vest.
How many RSUs are being recycled from those who already got a RIF ?
Or you could just be unemployed from a nice friendly RIF like the rest of us. Which do you think is better?
I am certain that they will be alarmed at this realization, and strive to immediately rectify it in your favor 🤣
What are you going to do about it? Big nothing?
Yes, same here.
It already happened to me last year, and will be same this year too (i. e. two pay cuts)
