What would be an efficient use of AI is to replace the unintelligent and very artificial Kerrins . That will save a lot of money and maybe even get some things done… or a least done right.

I’m betting our next big oops will be when the AI hallucinates in coding and no human in the loop caught it. Didn’t that happen to Deloitte?

That’s why they are forcing managers to give 20% does not meet no matter what. When work just becomes a performance that is not based in reality no one cares. This place is a joke. I can’t believe I used to like working here, doing actual work. Now I spend my days just trying to pretend I’m working but all I’m doing is cya.

Fraud CFO of fraud bank. They always tell they don't need people but you will see tons if job posting on career website. This criminal company hires people su-k them dry , than gives fake performance reason to layoff and than again starts cycle of hiring new people.

How often is the coding making mistakes? We don’t hire contractors anymore - has anyone checked the math on that? I still hear of lots of highly paid auditor and consulting firms that just use AI to tell us what our “solutions” should be - is it worth it?

Most of the people susceptible to AI are the I&P people. I bet that 47k gets cut in half.

If its non AI, its RTO or colocation or some other scapegoat. The goal has never changed, just the surface level rationale presented to investors and employees. Once the AI market blows up and starts dragging on the overall economy, they'll use the market downturn as a reason why they need to cut labor costs some more.

Its not going to change as long as Charlie is in charge

RTO ---> AI
You know it....its all about getting rid of the employees. True, they don't hide it, but really! Who would ever want to come work at this bank? Knowing what all is being planned? Crazy stuff....

I don't like WFs layoff message or living under this threat for years, but we can't say they haven't told us what they plan. None of our jobs are secure

It would be immeasurably better if they did layoffs in one big action so we could get it behind us and move forward. The nonstop threat of losing our job is demoralizing.
