no no no. only blame one place on the planet. that is . that is . that is. IN DIA. make too many babies and nothing will be produced. this is what we get. low quality and high price. VERY VERY HIGH PRICE. not enough to keep up with inflation.
Blame Apple for that, not Verizon
Considering the times we are living, Apple needs to read the entire room. Most are struggling to make ends meet with rising costs. New iPhone? Who cares. It will be eye opening to see how all the carries do with the sale of the newest iPhone

People are done with having the latest phone. Who cares?
Our store does better on a Wednesday on any given month than what we did on this iPhone launch. The Micromanaging was so over the top that one rep left and never came back. The smartest guy in the location.
@a2 that’s exactly what it is. They gotta get the new color. I have had a handful of people with orange 17 pro / Pro Max wanting to upgrade to the burgundy 18 Pro / Pro Max. It’s clearly just so they can flex that they have the new one despite the fact it’s the same fu--ing phone. No idea why people view an iPhone is a status symbol when it’s a fu--ing phone. I own a house and have a nice car, and by my phones outright for the retail price. As far as I’m concerned, that’s more of a flex than financing the latest iPhone every year, but ymmv

@a2 Why would foreigners purchase carrier-locked iPhones from Verizon when they can purchase unlocked ones from Apple that they can use overseas?
I do not envy anyone in sales.

The backstabbing lying cheating stealing toxicity cussing violence and anger every single day.
And my coworkers were almost as bad as I was.

I think you are asking how many technicians, engineers, inventory control, development, finance, etc, etc, etc will be laid off because of one phone from one manufacturer?
Imma say none.
Can't speak for what they will do to individuals whose sole responsibility is to sell that phone among others. It won't be the right phone for everyone.
