Thread regarding Honeywell Aerospace layoffs

Honeywell Olathe is so desperate they are hiring workers from Burger King ,etc will zero electronics knowledge and experience and making them techs. Plus they are paying them more than the techs than have been here for many years. This will blow up in their face. Leadership is terrible . This place will implode .

@mw that’s very bad news for the Anthem team. Noticed a couple of managers/directors are gone, what happened?

@mk Olathe will bear the full effect of the layoffs when the come. It won't close but 25
to 30% will be made redundant. This has happened before in 2005 when APEX was "Rescoped" after we told Socata that we were 2 to 3 years behind schedule and they walked away to the other big aviation company in Olathe. They were one of two Launch Customers, I'll give you one guess as to the other one was? Begins with a P. Don't be so hard on RP, no one in Honeywell as any experience setting up a board line.

The man atop Anthem was always JC. The disaster that is Anthem is his making and his alone. His inability to see the Engineering failures, his focus on UAMs and his inability to win marquee customers! He needs to be gone!

Not to mention Honeywell Olathe got millions of money from the state of Kansas for the CCA line and Anthem and nothing to show true results for the grant money .

I'll name them: Pilatus, the actual launch customer for Anthem, has walked away entirely and rightly so. Everyone knows it, just that nobody is talking about it.

There is only one theoretical 'customer' left right now for Anthem, and they are not thrilled either.

Anthem is one reason Jim should be unemployed, the mess of a supply chain is a second. Either reason is more than sufficient for a competent BOD to show him the door immediately.

@gx the interesting thing about titan/tbolt/anthem is the lack of accountability at the top especially in platform software and display software groups. Ten years of listening to those arrogant system engineers. … very entertaining watching the forest fire.

3 years? It was called Titan until they changed the name to Anthem at least 5 years ago. I think 11 years total in-works and nothing to show for it yet.

Nobody is talking about how Honeywell Aerospace just lost 85% of the new Anthem business because the aircraft manufacturer was tired on waiting on Honeywell for 3 plus years , so they pulled out. I won’t mention the name but it starts with a P and ends with a S.

@fz The answer to your question is NO. This group (ALT) is going to ride the plane in..... hence my posting name. It references the EGPWS -Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System that alerts the pilots that they are going to crash into terrain (the Ground). The plan is to crater the stock and then merge us cheaply with another legacy conglomerate aviation company that we tried to merge with a couple of decades or so ago. Monitor both stocks share price and when they start converging then you will know. ALT will receive platinum parachutes and the rest of us will crash and burn.

Main question remains is will the board do something to change course before too much damage is done. The amount of bad decisions/actions being made with GBE and ISC leadership will take forever to reverse.

I really don't care in the least if Honeyhell's marketing and propaganda channel wants the truth to be posted...IT WILL BE. They don't control me, they never have and never will. They can't intimidate or fire me, I walked away from them...LAUGHING AS I DID!!

I’m gonna prove things are getting bad. Three weeks ago that the CEO showed up to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He basically told the management if they can’t run the place to replace them with people who can run the place correctly. In order to get their parts out so don’t tell me it’s all about supply issues.

I cannot verify this was said. The only proof would be after November 2 if quarterly results fall below expectations. The only thing I can verify is the CEO was at our location. I think some bad things are gonna happen after November 2, 2026.

I don’t think it will happen right away. I think the window is January through March or April. Gonna be quite entertaining. I made sure I got myself out of debt. I’m getting a whole bunch of money set aside. Just in case worst case scenario take place, I could be wrong. We could get lucky it might not be as bad as I’m thinking it going to be.

Cramer was neighbors with Cote and that relationship really helped pump the stock when needed. Everything comes down to who your friends are.
Meanwhile when will we see our ceo being rolled down the hall to the juicing room by oompah loompah’s. The stress is showing

@a6 I noticed signs this long ago as well. I retired at 56, I won't be involved in what I know is going on in this company. The site I worked at knowingly shipped products they knew were noncompliant (outsourced suppliers changed the manufacturing procedure without approval) . Their customers won't tolerate this charade forever, that's their problem...

@OP I have known for almost 2 decades that "something is rotten in Denmark". It began in or around 2003 when the majority of the board making production lines were outsourced or offshored. My site became a rework then test and ship site. Somewhere around 2013 we could not for any reason get replacement components. I left shortly there after for a greener pasture. Only 10 years left!
