Does anyone know if these are two separate entities? I had an issue HR completely ignored. We received an email regarding the Ethics line. Has anyone got anywhere with this?

They are part of HR. They used to care but not anymore. If you get a response it will only be to cover their backsides.
The ethics line is not confidential, because everyone has caller id.
The truth is no one cares in HR. You would be wasting your time.
Ethics Line is run by Compliance Department - they outsourced a lot of the intake part to overseas contractors though.
