What's the biggest percentage increase you've gotten at EJ? Mine was 6 percent, and that was the high point.

Raises are pretty bad around here unless you move up in grade. Once you if the midpoint you are toast. Definitely did not keep up with inflation of the 2020s.

@hd+1m2q8zpgd I once got a thank you note on construction paper with a gold star on it. My bank said there was no way to deposit it in my checking account to pay bills with but I showed it to my mom and dad and they proudly hung it on the refrigerator.
I got to have extra pizza one time and an Amazon gift card for 10 bucks. Best place ever!
While we’re at it, just a reminder that EJ’s home office compensation is generally about 20% below industry average.
My largest ever was when I promoted to TL and got a 22.8% raise because it was a new salary grade and I was way below midpoint in the old grade... took a lot just to get me past the minimum for the TL grade. Second to that was 19.8% when I was promoted to a Sr associate role (left the TL role and made a lateral move to another division as an individual contributor).
Excluding promotions, my average pay raise since I was hired is just a little over 4% over 15+ years. (including 2009 when pay was frozen and there were no bonuses).

Annuals: 2.5%
Paygrade increases: 8%
Bump to minimums: 4%
with the change to how annuals are done this year this is the first time in 3 years Ive been above the minimum for my paygrade... by less than 1%.
I have never received more than a 2.5% raise to my base pay. However, I have received a few Meets Expectations+ Bonuses, which is a few $$ more than Meets, but I didn’t hit Exceeds (make it make sense).
With that said, I did do an internal move up on pay grades to a new role and got a 10.8% increase on my base pay, plus higher bonus due to grade jump. In the end, total, it’s about a $15k increase. No complaints, I guess. I put the new increases all into my 401k.
