You get through one round of cuts and immediately start wondering when the next one will happen. There's never enough time between layoffs to actually feel secure. This is our reality.

The degeneracy is waking up people. It's the storm before the calm.
TeamA entices the red-pilled.
TeamB attracts everyone else, but tries to show alignment with TeamA. That makes a few blue-pilled people wonder.
TeamC gets shunned by TeamA, and some of the blue-pilled people latch on to TeamC.
Once everyone figures this out, everyone gets black-pilled and red and blue divide goes away.
Some of us went through this from 2001 through early 2010s. You have to get numb, stay sharp and useful. Work extremely hard to get visibility, even if you slack at actual work. Hard work will not get you anywhere, only visibility saves you.
...or put more simply, we are not entitled to anything. Instead, we are merely plebes, groveling around in the muck at the feet of the oligarchs.

@a2 This country went to sh-t because the people let it happen. The people are being manipulated by the products we consume. We are bombarded constantly by advertising and are being convinced that we need the next new gadget or fashion and if we don't buy it we are somehow inferior. Why is social media so valuable? It is just a nonstop stream of information in your face about things that aren't important and while you aren't paying attention they collect more data about you and customize the fire hose of data to manipulate you more effectively. Why are sports and entertainment so important? They really don't add that much to our lives but we spend huge amounts of time and money of them every year. Go outside or read a book instead... We are being fed bioengineered food like products and wonder why we have health issues but don't worry they will fed you a plethora of prescription dr-gs to combat those self induced conditions... just ignore the side effects...
People need to just make better decisions and take back control of their lives. Adjust your priorities. Go work for a smaller company in a smaller community, become part of the community, consume less, tune out the ads, get offline, eat healthy food... there is a good life to be had in this country but you need to look for it and work at it.
Yeah, this is a psychological equivalent of the physical strain and abuse that factory workers went through in the 19th century. The worker, the AMERICAN worker is the one I blame here, we take it so silently - we handed over all power to mega corps in exchange for being taken care of, being able to advance, being able to have decent life. And, it may have been like that in the 1950s and 1960s but, for sure, it's not here any more. The kids that are entering the workforce now have no chance to make it unless they are nepo babies or have someone to financially prop them. The dream is gone and the abuse and exploitation is growing every year. Just look at LE's pile of cash and ask yourself if any human deserves that no matter what they did in life. Merit my a-s, no we clearly see how $$$ is made - it's a corrupt elite circle that know no bounds. Everyone outside of it is just fu---d and will be fu---d even more. This country went to sh-t.
