Question for remote employees. If we were all changed to the same Geo location c, why they hiring homebase users at higher pay grades in the career hub? There are multiple states listed in the state drop-down selection that have higher than C pay grades what gives?

@qv you can think what you want to think, but my post wasn’t coming from a place of entitlement, so F off.
@k4 ep here ... yeah, I ain't that ba----d from HR. Hated that fu---r even since he smugly told us way back in 2023 that we will all need to RTO.
But I also hate the original post that's oozing with entitlement and needs to get called out for it. The bank has existed for 160+ years. It is an institution I hold in high regard. I consciously make an effort to think of all the good (RD) that happened over just equating USB = GK or someone I do not admire as a blanket and then blabbering about it.
I stand by what I said ... USB is our current employer and if we do not like it then we are free to go find another job. No need to feel entitled as if USB owes us something and plan its strategies around our life.
The pay grades for a position and the geo location are two completely different things. But the pay grade listed for the job is typically for the 1st location listed and not all locations.

@cm this has nothing to do with existing employees. Higher grades are shown on the job postings.
@cw what are the positions? JR made it clear in the last RMC call that certain roles in tech will continue to hire remote due to the "market landscape" surrounding these roles.
@cm then why are they listing higher grades on the actual job postings? That has nothing to do with accommodation.
If someone has an accommodation they are made home based for the remainder of the accommodation and stay in their correct zone vs going to C
Typically the range posted aligns with the first/main location listed.
