There are lots of reasons it was closed:
- Nobody is wasting money anymore buying this c-r-a-p at $12.99 for a 12 pack
- It tastes terrible
- It was a business built on EBT money
- It's unhealthy, it's Type 2 in a can
- Maryland is just too expensive to do business in
- A lot of these companies are finding out that the only reason people bought their c-r-a-p was because it was cheap.
It's to be expected, who buys Pepsi ??? It's a d-e-a-d brand, just like Nike and Bud Light
Dear Pepsi Leadership. Please do something different. Years of cutting costs and arrogance have got you into this mess. Take some accountability. Add enough staff to do the work and pay us fairly. Why are you asking for help when you won’t help us?

PepsiCo said it will let go of nearly 70% of its workers at its facility in Cheverly, Maryland, the town announced Tuesday.
Town officials said Pepsi will let go of 98 of its current 143-person workforce, including workers in fleet, transport, manufacturing, warehouse, and other areas, at the Pepsi Bottling Group at 2611 Pepsi Place near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
The layoffs took place on Monday, at the same time Town officials said they were notified.
“These workers are part of our community, and we recognize the uncertainty and hardship that a workforce reduction can create," Cheverly Town Administrator Dyland Galloway said in a statement. "We are committed to doing what we can to connect affected workers with available resources.”
PepsiCo reportedly told city officials that its sales and delivery operations will continue without disruption. Town officials said they've reached out to PepsiCo for the future of the bottling and distribution facility.
